Sheldon Creed led Friday’s practice session for Saturday’s Tennessee Lottery 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Nashville Superspeedway.
Creed, driving the No. 2 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, quickest average lap on the 1.33-mile concrete track was 155.824 mph (30.727 seconds).
A.J. Allmendinger was second, Noah Gragson was third, Daniel Hemric was fourth and J.J. Yeley was fifth.
Qualifying is set for Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by the green flag at 2:30 p.m.
The fastest qualifying lap at Nashville in the NASCAR Xfinity Series was turned by David Stremme on April 7, 2007, with a speed of 166.561 mph.
