LEBANON, Tenn. – NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series rookie Nick Sanchez will start from the pole position in the Rackley Roofing 200 Friday at Nashville Superspeedway after posting the top speed in the afternoon qualifying session.
Driving the No. 2 Chevrolet for Rev Racing, Sanchez, the 2022 ARCA Menards Series champion, posted a lap speed of 161.915 mph (29.571 seconds).
Bayley Curry was second (161.844 mph), followed by Rajah Caruth in third, Truck Series points leader Corey Heim in fourth and Tanner Gray in fifth.
Nashville Superspeedway’s Truck Series qualifying record was set by Erik Darnell in August 2006 with a lap of 162.116 mph.
The green flag for the Rackley Roofing 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race (FS1, MRN, Sirius NASCAR Radio) is set for 7 p.m. CT.
The Rackley Roofing 200 is the last race of the 2023 Triple Truck Challenge. Grant Enfinger and Ben Rhodes won the first two legs of the Challenge, each pocketing a $50,000 bonus. They are eligible for an additional $150,000 bonus with a second Challenge victory tonight. Any new Challenge winner will receive a $50,000 bonus.
