LEBANON, Tenn. — Nashville Superspeedway’s 2025 NASCAR triple-header will take place May 30-June 1, it was announced by track officials. The summer calendar in Middle Tennessee will commence with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on May 30, Xfinity Series race on May 31 and the Cup Series race on June 1.
“We are elated to announce that our 2025 NASCAR triple-header at Nashville Superspeedway will be May 30-June 1,” said Matt Greci, general manager of Nashville Superspeedway. “Hosting such an incredible action-packed weekend at the start of summer offers numerous advantages and is such an exciting way to kick off the season for Middle Tennessee. Our community loves the celebration of racing and entertainment each year, and we look forward to providing our fans with another unforgettable experience that combines the thrill of NASCAR with the vibrant energy of Nashville.”
Details pertaining to television networks and start times for the newly slated NASCAR triple-header will be announced later.
NASCAR will now return to Middle Tennessee for a fifth straight year, and the event has sold out three of the past four years since Nashville Superspeedway reopened its gates in 2021.
Recent winners at Nashville Superspeedway include NASCAR Cup Series champions Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson and Joey Logano, in addition to Ross Chastain of Nashville-based Trackhouse Racing.
It took a record five overtime restarts to settle Nashville Superspeedway’s 2024 NASCAR Cup Series race, but Logano emerged as the winner to secure a playoff bid in dramatic fashion. With race leaders falling out of contention with each late-race restart — 31 extra laps and 15 cautions — Logano and his team gambled that his No. 22 Ford Mustang had enough fuel for a final push to the checkered flag. The reward was a trip to victory lane, the first for Ford at the 1.33-mile track, and a coveted ticket to the postseason for Logano and his team.
