Nashville Superspeedway adds a second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race to 2010 track schedule

Race fans coming to Nashville Superspeedway this April will have to makes plans for an extra day at the track as a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race has been added to the April 2-3, 2010 race weekend schedule.

The new Truck Series event will be held on Friday, April 2 in conjunction with the NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday, April 3, giving Nashville the unique opportunity of hosting a NASCAR doubleheader to kickoff its 2010 NASCAR season.

“We are pleased to have a second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race added to our schedule," said Cliff Hawks, vice president & general manager of Nashville Superspeedway. "Our April race weekend will now become a doubleheader featuring both the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday and the NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday. This new date adds more value, competitive racing and excitement to our opening weekend in 2010.”

Tickets go on sale on Jan. 6, 2010 and can be purchased by calling the Nashville ticket office at 866-RACE-TIX or by clicking here. Practice, qualifying and race start times for the April 2-3, 2010 weekend will be announced in the near future.
