Country Stars Emerson Drive to Perform Post-Race Concert
LEBANON, Tenn. - Tickets are on sale today for the NASCAR Nationwide Series 300 race scheduled for Saturday, April 11 at Nashville Superspeedway. Tickets are available by calling toll-free 1-866-RACE-TIX or online at www.nashvillesuperspeedway.com.
In addition, Country stars Emerson Drive will perform a special post-race concert for fans.
From their humble beginnings in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, the members of Emerson Drive have carved themselves a very impressive career in country music that has no boundaries. Having recorded three full length CDs including, EMERSON DRIVE, WHAT IF and COUNTRIFIED that spawned hits such as “I Should Be Sleeping,” “Fall Into Me,” “Last One Standing,” “November,” “A Good Man” and their very first #1 HIT “Moments.”
The band is slated to release their fourth studio album BELIEVE (produced by Teddy Gentry of Alabama and Josh Leo, the same powerhouse team from their #1 hit “Moments”) on The Valory Music Co. on April 7th and their new single “Belongs to You” is racing up the country charts. Their music video debuted at #2 on Great American Country (GAC) just recently.
With numerous nominations and awards from The Academy of Country Music, The County Music Association, The Canadian Country Music Association, The Christian Country Music Association, The JUNOS (Canada’s Music Awards) and their very first GRAMMY nomination in 2008 for “Best Country Performance By a Group or Duo With Vocal,” for their song “Moments” the accolades keep adding up. The band was also awarded a “Reader’s Choice Award” from College Campus Activities for two successful college market tours during 2006 and 2007 and is nominated again this year for the prestigious award for their touring in 2008.
